Message from Headmistress
“ Education is not preparation for life, education is life itself.”
As the Headmistress of the school, I feel honoured and privileged to be a part of this esteemed educational institution where every day is an opportunity to learn and discover. We look at ourselves as one big family where everyone learns.
We believe in upholding high standards with an absolute commitment to strive to understand and improve the educational process. Teachers at school and parents at home are both partners in the learning process of the child. Our endeavor is to teach every student to redefine success, not by the absence of failure in life, but by overcoming them.
The school activities are planned and prepared meticulously, giving equal importance to academics, Co -curricular and extra-curricular activities. These activities are implemented to ensure the overall development off the student. The school is well equipped with smart boards for all classes that enables teachers to put images and visuals that make it easy to convey the lesson to our students.
The clear vision of the management, commitment and dedication of the teaching and non -teaching staff, cooperation of parents and hard work of students together makes the school a center of academic excellence. Our journey towards excellence continues……... Wishing everybody good health.
Message From Manager
Dear Parents and Well Wishers,
It is said ‘reading makes a steady man, conference a ready man and writing an exact man.’ The history of Dominic Savio Vidyalaya which started in 1972 has been shining on and spreading the light and knowledge for many young generation till date.
This Institution accommodates children of various age groups coming from multi culture, language and tradition and imbibing in them the values, discipline and honesty. The inherent motto of the school is to strive to build a good character of every student and upholding of moral values is the guiding spirit of the staff and the management.
To achieve this dream of great task, many souls have worked hard and given their best during this long tenure for which we are deeply indebted to them all. May the light from above keep shining on this Institution and the lives of every child learn, gain and shine where they are planted and bloom to the fullest by serving the humanity. I wish all the very best to the staff members and bless every student and pray to the Almighty for protection, prosperity and peace to everyone.
I would like to end here with a quote from the Bible, Psalm 34: 2. ‘I will bless the Lord at all times; praise shall be always in my mouth.’
With every good Wish and success in all the events.
Fr. Nelson Saldanha.
